Maserati

I have never been particularly fond of Intuit's software. But, I did like Microsoft Money back in 1995 quite a bit, even though it was not terribly flexible. However, with each new version of Money, the application took a step backwards and eventually, in 2000 or 2001, it got so bad, I instantly stopped using it. I went without any type of financial software for a few years. After the Succinum project ended, I was looking for projects I could use to workout Shazaam 2.0.So, I created Maserati, a web-enabled accounting application that could track both mine and my business's finances and taxes. The original concept for Maserati was that it could be sold to small accounting firms who could then offer Maserati as a service to their clients. It would make the transfer of information between an accountant and his clients very smooth and allow all parties to keep on top of things. More recently, I have begun to implement Maserati at client sites so they can make use of it to track their own finances.
